Sports For You

The Games are made up of four levels of activity: competition in schools, between schools, at county/area level and a national event for the most talented school age athletes.By providing competition in different formats it makes competition more attractive and accessible for young people, and ensures they can all take part in competitive sport irrespective of their experience, talent or ability.Sports and Games are a regular part of our school curriculum. The school has latest facilities for indoor and outdoor games i.e., basketball court, jumping pit, vallyball court, kho-kho ground etc.

The larger of the two sports halls incorporates indoor cricket nets, whilst the smaller hall features an 8 metre climbing wall with a new dedicated kids' zone. There are also five squash courts and four purpose-built fives courts. The extensive outdoor facilities include two floodlit Astro pitches, twelve outdoor netball courts which can be adapted for tennis and a 400 metre athletics track. The School's new cricket pavilion will further enhance the existing two smaller pavilions, nine cricket squares, twenty cricket nets and sports fields that are far reaching, making Oundle an outstanding venue from which to play or enjoy cricket. The Sports Centre is currently host to a number of local sporting groups and clubs who hold regular weekly sessions, and is also available for one off hire.
